I just watched the video below. I am very impressed with Elon Musk's answers to the questions. He is still hanging on to the theory of evolution as many are as it has been so ingrained in us that it is difficult to overcome this brainwashing. However, I was not at all impressed with the Christian prompter. He made the statement that bible is infallible and inerrant. That is not true. Moreover, the bible is just a sketch. It is not a cookbook or an instruction manual for living life as many ministers seem to think. It offers ways to connect you to the omnipotent. However, prayer is more than 10,000 more significant to a walk of faith, than any interpretation of scripture. This is where most ministers are dropping the ball and also alienating the Gen Z. To the Gen Z, or those questioning, I do not recommend that you go to church or even read the bible as a first step. To connect yourself to God, show a genuine interest, like Elon Musk. The second step is to pray. Every Sabbath, but even better every day, say these words or a very close rendition of them in prayer.
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
The word hallowed means holy, debts means sins also called trespasses. Our debtors are our haters. You may substitute those words in prayer. Bread can mean food, as well as spiritual nourishment. There are many, many people that have never read a word of scripture and never attended church that I am confident are in heaven. Some can't read, others live in areas where scripture was never available. Sure bible reading does a great deal to augment a walk of faith. However, don't let well intentioned ministers, priests or rabbis overly complicated your walk of faith. It is your relationship with God and he will lead you into understanding and help guide the way. This prayer is nondenominational, it applies for everyone. All you need to do at this point in time is to pray. Say these words, keep saying them and believing in them and you'll connect yourself to God. But which God? The God of more than the sum total of all religions. Don't let any religion stop you from connecting to a supreme being. These simple words are so powerful that they are overwhelming.
